Enlargement of Chardeh School by four classrooms

07Funds remaining from the previous round of fundraising for Chardeh 1 together with part of the money raised during and after the Milan event and a substantial contribution from a private foundation (Karl Kahane Foundation) allowed Comitato Arghosha to complete the funding of two additional projects, the enlargement of the school in Chardeh by four classrooms and a new English and ICT course. The enlargement of the school is now accomplished. All the masonry works are completed and  the new section of the building will be painted and furnished by the spring 2010 when the snow will melt in the Hindu Kush Highlands. The enlargement project included also the construction of new latrines for the whole structure.
